Tyler McLaurin Has Committed to Michigan
Michigan's not going to miss out on this backer from the Brook! IL linebacker Tyler McLaurin announced today that he'll be joining the 2021 class. At #404 on the composite McLaurin is momentarily the highest-rated defensive recruit in the class, though that could change in less than 24 hours when OH safety Rod Moore is expected to announce.
Committed to what I can only describe as “inimitable”‼️〽️ @Coach_SMoore @CoachJim4UM @Thee_Matty_D @EliasKarras @beyondsportsIL @AllenTrieu @EDGYTIM @EJHolland_TW @SWiltfong247 pic.twitter.com/Ri9zyymbV6

"The Brook" is Bolingbrook, where former Michigan CB/friend of the blog Todd Howard played and coached. They also sent 2016 LB Tuf Borland to Ohio State after Michigan chose to pursue Devin Bush instead. We'll have the full Hello post for McLaurin next week.
There is nothing after the jump.
So nice to see a new post on the front page.
Is this guy related to Terry McLaurin of OSU and now Washington Redskins fame?
Yes I believe cousin?
"Inimitable?" Immediately my favorite recruit of this class. Can we summon Prof. Ralph Williams to be his personal English professor for the duration of his enrollment?
Ralph’s a good dude! I hope he’s still teaching.
English prof. Pfft.
He needs a math prof to study the ins and outs of MacLaurin Series!
?
Nice get welcome Tyler
Plays smart with sideline to sideline speed...good potential here.
