One Frame At A Time: Indiana
A short, bittersweet version of OFAAT today, as I was wholly uninterested in capturing a bunch of gifs from a loss that still stings a bit.
As it turns out, however, things could've been much worse. I have looked into an alternate universe in which Victor Oladipo makes that impossible alley-oop, and that alternate universe, well...
...may it rest in peace.
[Hit THE JUMP for the rest of the Indiana gifs, which once again include Ted Valentine being Ted Valentine, attention whore of the highest order.]
No lightboxes today because there are only four gifs here—if you need to stop animation, hit 'escape' on your non-Chrome browser.
Call me crazy, but I think Ted Valentine called a kicked ball here:
After years of over-the-top histrionics, TV Teddy finally earned his big break:
Oh, and Trey Burke hit a pretty sweet step-back three:
The rest of the game? [*Jedi hand wave*] What rest of the game?

would have made that dunk it would have been a candidate for play of the century.

Maybe it's just because I know we ultimately lost the game now- but I wish he made the dunk. It would have just been amazing to have seen it. Not often does a missed dunk still be the most outstanding play. Oladipo is probably the most exciting BigTen player (outside of Michigan) for me to watch.

If he made that it would've been epic.
As it stands, it's the sweetest looking missed alley-oop (sp?) or dunk I've ever seen by far.

Despite the loss, I'm glad I still live in this universe.

Holy missing GIF Batman!
Where's the 5 step (I counted them), held ball, no wait it's a foul, doesnt exist but we'll make-up a continuation rule 3 point play that basically ended the competitive portion of the game?
That was the one I've been looking forward to since Saturday night.
