Michigan To Replace NC State With Toledo Comment Count

Michigan's filled in their NC State schedule gap with a quickness:

Sources have confirmed with The Michigan Insider that the Wolverines will instead face Toledo on Wednesday at Crisler Center instead, with contract language and testing details still needing to be ironed out before being officially announced.

Toledo was 17-15 last year and finished #152 in Kenpom. So far this year they're 3-2, with a two-point loss on a neutral court against Bradley and a three-point loss at Xavier. Their other games have been comfortable wins over Oakland, Cleveland State, and EMU. They're #102 on Kenpom, in the same range as BGSU, Ball State and UCF.

Adding this game means that NC State will not get rescheduled unless the NCAA starts issuing waivers for teams to go over 25 games without a multi-team event (NCAA jargon for "neutral site tournament").
