One question that I don't think was really discussed on either the podcast or Alex's column below: does Michigan change personnel or strategy for round 5 vs Notre Dame? After the sweep two weeks ago, it was mentioned that Notre Dame (along with WMU) is one of the biggest and heaviest teams in the country, and could push Michigan around to neutralize our skill. Can we do anything about it? Maybe change matchups since we'll have last change and try to get our first rounders on the ice against more favorable ND lines.
I'm not deep into hockey strategy so I'm not sure how much can change in a week or two of prep. Is there something we can (and should) substantively change? Or, do we think that all 4 games were essentially crapshoots, we got unlucky, and the style we've played all year is what will maximize our chance to win?
