Milton missed a spectacular zone read by giving a keeper in the first half of Rutgers. He was offered more opportunities to pre and post-snap read the defense than you are mentioning, in my opinion. Cade was better at multiple arm angle throws to the short zones.

Milton just hasn’t consistently moved the chains. Play calls looked more limited for him but that could be Joe Is just too often behind schedule. Cade has moved the chains better and just has more and better plays to run.
