Umich Football (not that football) recruiting
Looks like Michigan Soccer is starting to hit the big time! First a brand new stadium, now we signed the National Player of the Year!

and teach him to kick through the uprights in his spare time. (Sorry, one track mind at work.)
Sounds like a quaint German village.
EDIT: On second thought, perhaps Swedish or Swiss. Either way......
Need some umlauts on the Umich.
Glad to have him aboard, on a side note his hair reminded me of Eddie Munster.
will have both the best name and the best hair in collegiate soccer. Let's hope he continues his goal scoring onslaught at UM.
Kid had 76 goals in one year and 172 in his career! That's damn impressive
The question is...can he kick field goals??
I saw him play when Dearborn came to Saline. Saline double- and triple-teamed him every time he touched the ball and he was still able to let lose some remarkable shots. He let loose one from probably 25 out that he had no business shooting yet still rifled off the upright.
Great recruit for M soccer.
But, since it happened...
I highly doubt he will even think for a second about kicking FGs. Sports are during the same season and I'd rather have that great of a talent not risk anything by getting on the football field or spending time kicking footballs when he can be practicing soccer.
I agree with this. And, unless, he kicked for his HS football team, I'm sure he's not as good of a placekicker as the guys we have. Being a good soccer player does not make you a Big Ten quality PK. High schools take kids from the soccer team to kick field goals - Big Ten teams with Army All-American scholarship PKs on their teams do not.
