Not Subject to Compliance: John Harbaugh

Submitted by speakeasy on

I am endlessly entertained by Jim's lack of use for the NCAA and now John's willingness to go along with it. Anyone have a photo of the compliance guy when they busted out this routine?

I love that Harbaugh walks the walk and talks the talk, but is there potential for blow back?  NCAA has already passed two rules aimed specifically at Harbaugh.   Will be see an SEC officiating crew blow some calls in our bowl game?  Is there anything to worry about here?

Looking forward to learning how JOHN HARBAUGH’s presence at the Paramus Catholic Next Level Football Camp (because technically it’s NOT the University of Michigan Football Program’s Satellite Camp, despite the growing relationship between Paramus Catholic and Michigan) on June 8 will (a) cause an autograph frenzy and (b) impact JIM HARBAUGH’s relationship with the NCAA.

There’s an article today in one of the northern New Jersey newspapers about the Paramus Catholic Next Level Football Camp and, more specifically, Paramus Catholic’s Drew Singleton, considered the top rising senior in New Jersey, an Honor Roll student and a Michigan prospect. It mentions that in college he “wants to study business or finance with a concentration in property management.”  Anyone know of a top university with a highly rated business school that might have a special connection to a real estate developer who happens to own an NFL team?

In addition to having 800 campers from eleven states and the District of Columbia (CA, CT, DC, DE, FL, MD, NH, NJ, NY, MA, PA, and VA), this camp will have New York area media coverage. I expect that it's going to be "crazy." (And there might even be subs. Maybe someone will bring along some of The Soprano heroes (in northern New Jersey, they still call subs hero sandwiches) from A Family Affair in Fair Lawn, the town next to Paramus, and about a six-minute drive from Paramus Catholic High School. The Soprano heroes/subs come highly recommended. LINK)
