She's a 1 1/2 year old rescue dog and looks like she has some Rhodesian Ridgeback in her.  We are fostering her this week....but 95% sure she's staying.  Biggest hurdle was seeing how she would cohabitate with the cats.  She is scared of them...actually won't walk past them.  We were doing some research and I guess this is a thing....so funny.  Getting better with each day.

RRs are awesome dogs...I wanted to get one in the worst way.  The reason we didn't is apparently they have a strong chase instinct.  One of my dogs is a rescue bulldog/boxer I got from the pound.  They kept him in the back and didn't advertise as some people want to use them to fight in Detroit.  He's junkyard ugly with heart of gold...but he is adorable to me.

EDIT:  By the way dogs avoid cats because dogs can sense evil

(loling-I agree, although I do have a soft side for them....) We did a TON of research on RR's and we found the same thing.  Big commitment.  I have a friend who has had one for 17 years and says it the "dog of a lifetime".  He a mountain goat kinda guy.  Takes every Friday and does 14 mile hikes and take the dog along.

Our neighbor had two bulldogs and they were noisy! I could hear them snorting from across the street. Is that that case with yours? Cool dogs!

YES!  My Chips are not going into the night quietly!

I had to call up to Mt Pleasant...they patched me through to the Coach Bonamega and I let him know all the shit he was doing wrong.

Many people take the voting so seriously and gives them sense of empowerment, which is why it is abused quite often. I can almost guarantee my post will get down voted because others will take what I just said personally.

If the goal posts were about 5 feet or so to the kicker's right, that field goal attempt makes it just inside the uprights. To be fair, it was dead nuts straight from the hash, and therefore wide.

Also, a short jump ball into mild traffic which still somehow gets hauled in is classic MACtion. These games are a welcome distraction indeed.
