Michigan Hockey season opener vs Mercyhurst thread

I'm a little terrified of this non-conference schedule that's full of AHA and ECAC teams.
One loss in the non-conf and that's an anchor on the RPI which will make it an uphill battle the rest of the season considering there's one other good team in the B1G and I doubt Michigan clean sweeps everyone in the B1G.

This was the most disappointed I've ever been after a Michigan Hockey win in my life.
They had a chance to make a statement and start things off on a good note. Sure it would've been against Mercyhurst, but it'd be better than giving up 4 goals to Mercyhurst.
Everything bad that happened last year happened tonight.
Maybe it should be chalked up to rust but I hope to see a better effort defensively on Sunday.
Kyle Connor is good. Hopefully he sticks around for more than one year.
We're gonna learn a hell of a lot about this team next weekend as they're gonna travel and play road games at schools where hockey is THE big sport.
