"Worst case" Starting Lineup - Football 2024

I was curious what the "worst case" lineup would be for Michigan next year if almost literally everyone who could leave left and no new players came in. I took a little liberty with the OL for guys who are past their third year, but aren't really going anywhere. This feels like an 8-4 type team, depending on QB play.

OL - Persi, El Hadi, Crippen, Priebe, Gentry

TE – Loveland, Tonieli

QB – Orji / Denegal / Davis

FB – Bredeson

RB – Hall / Henderson / Cabana

WR – Morris, Morgan, Moore

DL – Moore, Grant, Graham, Guy

LB – Hausman, Rolder

CB – Johnson, Waller / Hill

NK – K Jones

S – Sabb, Hillman

People who are projecting 8-9 wins are really underestimating the impact of D line + WJ, and underestimating the impact from the west coast schools losing 3 Heisman caliber qbs. It's rare to find someone that good and experienced, those schools will most likely struggle to score on UM.

Texas will be very good, but it's at home. OSU is looking like a real juggernaut next year, unfortunately. If JJ and DE come back, and the playcalling is more creative, there is a chance. But with UM's schedule, 10-2 sneaks into the playoffs and the boys can make some noise.

Staff has earned the benefit of the doubt. New guys will step up, a few will portal in. Anything under 10 wins would be surprising to me.
