I can’t get it on tv and am surprised there isn’t a game thread. For those of you able to watch, could you provide some Mgocolorcommentary?

Kobe with a nice shooting touch today.  He's really coming on of late, and Dug seems to be a good complement.  Just need to work as a team on rebounding and defense.  The shooting is good.  The bench will come around.

I don't know why the BTN didn't televise this game as they have multiple channels on the COMCAST cable lineup. They did two football game at the same time a month ago. The UAAB @ Illinois game is on all of those channels. I listened to our game on the radio.

Anyway, it was a good finish to what was a sloppy game for the Maize and Blue.

Feels like Jace should be playing more at the 4 instead of Williams, who's a good player in spots but again struggled with more on his shoulders.

Wasn't a pretty game but they won and now have a chance for a signature win.  This still feels like a bubble team but given how young they are outside of Dickinson I'm not surprised.  Purdue and Illinois look like the class of the conference but otherwise feels like UM could beat or lose to anyone else on the schedule.

I didnt watch the game, but a hallmark of a young team is "playing to the competition". So we play well against good teams, and poor against bad teams (ASU outlier). Go Blue!

Had Will Pruitt not been subbed out in the middle of the second half or if he didn't lose his shooting mojo after his shoe came up after making a and-1 lay up for what seemed to be his millionth point, we were toast ( and the Juwan pitchforks were ready).

It was like watching old school Georgetown almost losing to Pete Carril's Princeton Tigers. Back door screens simple old school basketball and making FTs.

There are two things Michigan needs for next year that just isn’t there this year.  One is a bigger and more athletic four man. Two is another guard, perhaps a combo guard to help with Dug and the shooting guard rotation. Our roster is full right now, but if Hunter goes and there is any other attrition, these are the areas I’d like Michigan to hit.

A bunch of low spades...

They're going to almost win against top 15 teams and almost lose against bad teams.

The best thing for this team is to get experience, squeak into the NCAA Tournament and then go get not one, but TWO elite transfers.

Jett Howard and Bufkin should be your 3rd and 4th options.

In '23-'24 Michigan needs...

C: Dickinson (if he stays), Reed, Kante.

PF: Williams as "seniority starter" backed up by an ELITE 6th man transfer who plays more minutes (if Dickinson leaves, this should ve a Center), Tschetter/Glenn.

SF: Jett Howard, Khayat, Jace Howard.

SG: Bufkin, Barnes, Washington.

PG: ELITE starting PG...the Olu Oluwatimi of PGs, backed up by McDaniel.
