So it seems like Harbaugh is approaching this like a restricted FA in basketball does free agency: they don't negotiate against themselves: they know what their current team can offer but go out and see if a team is willing to give them more. Then its on the current team to match or not. 

IT is going to happen… I guarantee it

Honestly this is just tiring, if this shit is gonna happen every year just go and find someone who wants to be here. He clearly is entertained by nfl and this will keep happening every year. This is going to have major backlash on recruiting going forward for years to come if he does stay (every program is gonna neg. recruit him going now) he’s only hurting the program at this point. 

Nick Baumgardner tweeted 30 minutes ago that it “is his understanding that Michigan have had productive talks and a competitive package has been offered. At this point, it’s about what Harbaugh wants to do. Michigan, as he understands it welcomes JH a UM, but some at Michigan wonder if he’s torn about the NFL.”

Neither. Mayock just had too many personnel issues and took too many chances on players that backfired. He was going to be fired in any set of circumstances. 

I just don’t see Vegas as an attractive place for a young family. Harbaugh has everything set up in Ann Arbor the way he wants it from a family perspective. Just don’t see him dragging his parents and family that far away and that much further from John’s family. Further, why would he move away from his daughter who is currently attending Michigan?

Jim is not wired like all of these other coaches. I feel like he is being analyzed like your garden variety coach. He is very different. I think he will not leave his perfect situation for something that appears to be bright and shiny. 

Mayock was on his way out regardless, so not a surprise.  I doubt it changes much of anything.

1. His leaving LV is irrelevant to Harbaugh. JH will do what he wants to do.
2. Dislike grammar Nazis but cumong, don't start/end sentence with "you think."
