Zach Charbonnet in the transfer portal
Everybody is reporting it, including 247 (https://twitter.com/247SportsPortal/status/1351284740620476416) and Angelique (https://twitter.com/chengelis/status/1351284454732541953).
It's too bad, he's a heck of a player. Good luck to him.

Too bad. Though I certainly don't blame him. After watching him look very good carrying the load vs. Alabama in the bowl game, I was certain he would be the workhorse next season. He had vision, cutting ability and could be utilized in any situation - maybe pass protection was a little iffy - but he just pretty much disappeared? I could never understand why he - or at least someone - wasn't getting 18-20 carries a game. Good running back almost always seem to gain strength as the game goes on - and our play calling just never gave any of them a chance.
Good luck to him - wherever he lands.

Love the "staff is great and using players correctly crowd" when it's clear Michigan is basically a black hole for offensive skill position players.

I would tell coach Hart his first task is to recruit him back.

Wish I was surprised, but we can't even get Haskins to 10 carries most games. With Edward's for the future and Haskins now im not too worried about impact to the team but still a bummer.

He had potential and the coaching staff blew tis one. Zach was also a good blocker when he was out there.
Good luck to Zach.
