Possible good vibes re: 2021 RB Donovan Edwards

Submitted by Magnus on March 21st, 2020 at 9:52 AM

Continuing in distraction mode, West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield running back Donovan Edwards had a crystal ball from Steve Wiltfong go from "OSU" to "Foggy." It appears more and more likely that Hopewell (VA) Hopewell running back TreVeyon Henderson, the #1 RB in 2021, is going to pick Ohio State. That would give OSU two blue-chip running back commitments in Henderson and Evan Pryor.

Edwards is now at 40% Michigan, 40% Ohio State, 10% Georgia, and 10% foggy.

In other good news, WR Deion Colzie decommitted from Notre Dame, and Michigan immediately offered. Not that I think Colzie will go to Michigan, but because it's bad news for the Irish.

And California WR Xavier Worthy named Michigan to his top six, though he hasn't visited.

Your posting history reveals that you're an obvious Ohio State fan posing as a Michigan fan, and shitting on the Michigan program.  You're a concern troll.

Sam Webb is one of the best in business.  He has deep connections to the Edwards family so here's another Buckeye fan calling them liars.

Just like the other guy, I'm glad this upsets you so much.

Hey Magnus, I asked this question in another thread on OL but was probably too late for you to see it.

I'm no scout, but any concerns about what seems to be short arms on Tiernan?   I mean what the hell do I know about it, but noticed it when watching his film.  I haven't heard anyone else say anything about it so I could be completely wrong.

At a certain point I stop looking back for threads, since they don't pop up to the top of the board anymore.

I don't really worry about arm length too much for college players, especially when they're already swing-type guys who could play guard. I think that becomes more of a concern when you have to get down to the nitty-gritty details for the NFL.

Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it.

How about the fact that he plays at Country Day, and that's some of the worst competition in the state.  I mean it's not just a lower class, they kind of piece together a schedule however they can given their private status.  Some of the teams they play have like 20 players total.

Being ranked No. 1 doesn’t mean you are the best for a specific offense, or even that you will turn out to be any good.  Now and then, someone is clearly best, but other years, it is less clear.  Remember Derrick Green.  I think Kelly Baraka may  have been a No. 1 also.  If we have someone in the top ten, I am happy with that

I think Edwards is a bigger get than Henderson and was still happy when they thought we’d get Henderson and OSU Edwards. But I’m more happy now that has been flipped. I think Edwards will be great and he’s from MI

Accounts I've read say that Henderson has never even been to Columbus.  A Top out-of-state prospect committing to a school he's never visited would not be unprecedented but it certainly is unusual if it happens like that.
