Game day sign security?

Submitted by umichjenks on

I have a sign I want to bring into the game day area and was wondering if they check the sign for innapropriateness.  Also, if they do (I'm assuming they do) what are ways around this?  There will be no swear words on the sign, but I really want to get the sign on TV.

Would it be too obvious if I covered up the sign with a generic Go Blue and then tore it off after I got into the area?

All I know is that if I don't see a sign that says "Carlos Hyde never laid a hand on Lennay Kukua either" I'll be really upset. Or something about chicken and catfish. Or something about Golson plagiarising my other sign, or Lou Holtz being Lennay Kukua. A few of those HAVE to make it on there.

I really hate the hivemind mentality that is developing on this board. It's a freaking sign, get over it and come up with your own if you don't like this guys.

Sit down with a pad of paper . . . you should be able to come up with something creative. There's a reason advertising types get paid a lot. It isn't easy to come up with something pithy and clever, but I'm sure you can do it.
