Where to watch MBB in NYC
I know there are official bars for watching Michigan football in NYC and many other cities but I haven't seen anything about basketball. Considering many games are on BTN which many people don't have, are there any bars in the city one could go and watch Michigan basketball with other fans?

Hey smartass, I think the point is to watch the game somewhere with other fans. Not just where it might be on

Most people in NYC do get the BTN.
That being said, its pretty rare for any sort of bar to draw a large Michigan Bball crowd. Even back in the day when there was one official bar rather than half a dozen, I was usually one of 2 or 3 people there to watch Michigan bball

Except for extreme circumstances, all of the official Michigan bars (in Manhattan at least) will have Michigan basketball games on if they are on BTN or ESPN. Your best bet to watch with other fans would be at Professor Thom's on 2nd Ave. As somebody said, above, though, none of the bars draw a huge crowd for Michigan basketball unless them agme is not televised in NYC (NCAA Tournament, for example).

Proof on 3rd and 18th usually draws a good crowd for college basketball and there always seem to be some Michigan fans there. Professor Thom's on 2nd and 13th is Michigan owned so it'll have the game on but it tends to be a football place.

UM Club of NYC does also have an official bar to watch basketball... details being finalized in the coming days but expected to once again be The Hill, located at 416 3rd Avenue (between 29th/30th).
