Beilein said Aubrey Dawkins can shoot it and is athletic. SaI'd he has some Hardaway ann G-Rob in his game but needs refinement— Sam Webb (@SamWebb77) August 13, 2014
I sold Aubrey Dawkins short describing him athletically to be poor man's GR3. Not yoked like GR3, but he has his hops pic.twitter.com/lmka0lrRgk— Sam Webb (@SamWebb77) August 13, 2014

Kind of a throw away line in a Caris Levert story but Beilein says Austin will play in Italy.
Beilein said freshman Austin Hatch, whose high school career was limited due to a series of tragedies, including two plane crashes, will participate in a few games overseas.
Bielfeldt won't be ready, and they seemed a bit blind sided by the DJ Wilson injury. Not sure if it was something that happened suddenly or a gradual thing for Wilson.
Beilein said Wednesday the injury to the 6-foot-9, 220-pound freshman forward "was the most unexpected" and limited him from doing "almost everything." The loss is a blow to Wilson's development, who Beilein said was experimenting at multiple positions.
On today's recruiting roundup, Sam Webb said that in his opinion, Michigan is "pretty much done" with 2015 recruiting following Duncan Robinson's decision to transfer to U-M. He said that he didn't think Michigan would be mentioned in connection with Jalen Coleman or Eric Davis for much longer. This is looking like a good call, with this news from Kyle Bogenschutz:
Sam said that he thinks that for Michigan 2015 recruiting now boils down to possible big-time "difference makers," such as Caleb Swanigan or P. J. Dozier. Other than that, it's on to 2016.
There's been a lot of talk on the board lately about "Camp Sanderson" being an important driver of UM's hardwood success. However, much like the phrase "John Beilein's offense", few who talk about it have any idea what it entails. Let us be ignorant no more - read Daily alum Everett Cook's piece that gives us an interesting peek into the world of high-level strength and conditioning that is "Camp Sanderson".
Michigan will break from the changing adidas template for the first time ever, and will keep their current uniform they have had since 2012-13 per the MDen catalog.
Michigan Hockey will change uniforms for the 5th straight season. Complete redesigns to both Road and Third jerseys.
