Its tough Obviously as a UConn fan, yeah, I wanted the game here. But I totally see Michigan's side of it, too. I'll say this- I respect the hell out of UM for not just paying the penalty. And for scheduling the thing in the first place.
Hope you had a good time It's not the Big House, but its home for us. You have to market a lot when the TV deal plays $3 million a year, I guess. Can't believe we were in it as long as we were, that was legit shocking. I guess you never know, right? Had a good time talking with the UM folks I interacted with in the Aero Lot. Sorry to those of you who had rough experiences (I hate that they sell beer at the games, it does not mix well with natural New England curmudgeonnry), but I hope you travel home safely. Good luck the rest of the way. And should we meet in Arlington, I'll buy a round. Yes, that's right, I'm already looking ahead to the Men's* Final Four! *necessary qualifier in these parts

Shouldn't be a problem Mostly a residential neighborhood surrounding the stadium, plus some strip malls that'll either be empty or have people who were parked for the game by that point.
Watch ABC App

The game can be watched live on the Watch ABC app. It's where all the ABC games are, not on Watch ESPN until replay.

UConn Perspective

We are the only team in all of FBS without a sack. Not one.

We lost to Towson.

We are below 100 in Total Offense and Total Defense.

We all agree the coach stinks.

We all agree the conference stinks.

But Saturday, we get Michigan at home, so I'm going to try and enjoy what is sure to be a brutal, brutal beating.

Yes

Yes.

It's stupid.

We know.

Look out for the golf cart gestapo or park in the Aircraft Club and it's not an issue..

Not Sure How Early The Lot Opens

Good question, I'm not sure how early they open. I usually roll in about 3 hours before the game. Weak sauce to you all, I'm sure.

You can give them a call and ask, though. Their phone number is 860-565-6236.

Negatory

The cops fence off the side streets so the local residents don't get overwhelmed. But some of the houses along Silver Lane offer parking on their lawns, as well as the fantastic Aircraft Club.

UConn Fan Here With Tailgating Tips

First of all, it's an incredible honor to have you here. I know its a smaller stadium, worse team, but I hope you all have a good time.

If you are coming to UConn, I'm going to let you in on a little secret...it's called the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club. It's closer than the general parking, there are flush toilets, you can throw around a football (THE GENERAL LOTS BAN THIS BECAUSE WE ARE CURMUDGENLY NEW ENGLANDERS), they let you use charcoal (can't do it at the stadium lot due to it being located on a protected wetland, yes, even an airport is a protected wetland), and it costs just as much.

Google Maps link (its all the softball fields North of the stadium): https://local.google.com/?ll=41.761917,-72.62023&spn=0.015654,0.014956&…

Here is a UConn tailgating Q&A put together by a Syracuse fan: http://texanmarktailgate.blogspot.com/2011/06/connecticut-tailgate-and-visitors-guide.html

If you have any other questions, feel free to reply and I'll respond as best I can.

Also, please help us fire our coach.
