They called us “Michigan State” twice during one of our tourney games. It may have been the FSU game. I think that confusion would be a demerit in the quest for Blue Blood status.
Wilton Speight's performance tonight needs to be appreciated for what it is. He came in cold and put together a winning drive on the road against a team that was playing their best. What more is it we're asking of this student athlete? How can anybody trivialize this level of play?
Ah, maybe I need to go over to a Sparty site in order to correct the things they're saying to reflect the Wolverine point of view. They surely never whine about the refs ... It's always, I'm sure, self-critical analysis of their team's flaws.
Wait, I thought we were the arrogant ones. What's going on here.
Sparty played well, we played well. You won and we lost. Please go away.
By the way, maybe you need new S & C coaches so you won't have to cry so much about injuries. You sound like Hayden Fry.
ND, please tell me that stands for Notre Dame. Do you realize how lucky we are to have Blake O'Neil (probably misspelled) on our team? Your quote, "No one will ever look back favorably on his tenure" is wrong and it's mean spirited. What a punter! We have him for only this year, and I pretty much expect we will miss him. Are you aware of a better punter we could have this year or next? One that doesn't make mistakes?
Blake may never forget this thing, but there's nothing to live down. I
"Kickoffs from the 35 at altitude are almost guaranteed touchbacks."
I believe this to be true, based on physics thingies I learned at Michigan and from playing high desert golf.
So wouldn't we apply this logic to Rudock's two overthrown passes that Chesson was so open for? Like many of us, I really want Jake to be a good QB, so maybe I'm searching for an excuse. But at 4,500 feet and maybe 4-5 feet too far? Hmmm...
I'm working on the interceptions, and I'll be getting back to you real soon.
I thought I saw a Michigan team playing offense today with an unusual (for us) priority on playing in the paint. Kellogg commented on it, noting that UM is dead last among power conferences in points in the paint at 21 ppg. At 10:00 in the game we had 24, and we didn't let up at all from there.
Is Coach Beilein pushing them in a new direction? Any others notice this?

Why doesn't the BTT have UW and Maryland sit out the first round, leaving an eight team second round - the normal format?
Help! I need to not think the Big Ten management is deranged.
