I was away from AA for a while and returned last weekend. Both the Beer Grotto and Beer Garden at the hardware store are great additions to the townmosphere...and both are off Main.
Are all the folks saying $35 for Vue from metro Detroit? When I look (I'm in Chicago), I see Elite=$55, Core=$45, and Access=$40. Core has BTN, Access does not.
A colleague of mine at Wake recieved the following email today:
Dear Graduate Faculty,
I am pleased to announce that this morning, Wake Forest will announce a new MA in Sports Storytelling program. Chris Webber, five-time NBA all-star, sports analyst, businessman and film producer has been named a Professor of Practice for the two-year program housed within the University’s award-winning Documentary Film Program (DFP). Webber will teach a course on sports, race and society.
Eric Barron did not resign because of Winston. Barron left FSU for PSU because PSU is a vastly superior institution, and PSU was a bit of a homecoming for him.
Bay Area chain. If you come all the way to SF to get a burger, please do yourself a favor and skip in n out at the wharf. Go here: superduperburgers.com
Homeconcocted limoncello. Our neighbor gave us lemons, so we made limoncello (we live in sf). This is our first batch...and the taste is a bit more lemon pith than lemon. Luckily, there's booze beneath! ...makes for a very maize end to the evening.
For a midwestern town with nary a precipice, aa has a pretty active climbing scene. While it is true you'll have to drive a lot, there's a pretty enthusastic group of driving climbers that congregates at Planet Rock. Pretty much every weekend you'll find somebody heading to the Red or to the New River Gorge. Outside of that...wait for winter and take up ice climbing. That's a drive too (Ontario or UP), but nearyby, in Fenton, there's a nice artificial tower winterlong.
All the Manning chitlins attended Isidore Newman in NOLA for high school. I'd surmise that the Louisiana love stems from those years and their accompanying success.

Question: the "How to Play" link says the star rating is the median of 5(?) separate star rating groups:
However, when I look at my profile I only have stars for the bottom 4 categories and the top says "Tenure updates at end of day." What does this mean?

I've always used Big Fisherman's seafood boil [www.bigfisherman.us].
In addition to all the standard veggies, I like to add whole mushrooms. They're great for soaking up the heat of the boil.
