I would kind of expect his son Jett to come to UM and he is a top 60 junior in HS. If Jett comes to UM and Juwan coaches him for 3 years that would be at least another 4 years on the job.
I could see Dickinson getting 28 min at the 5, Johns starting at the 4 and getting 24 min. and Diabate getting 28 playing both the 4 and 5. Not sure where that puts T. Williams though.
Which freshman do you think will have the best opportunity to start next year? I have seen Houston, Diabate, and Collins play on TV. Only highlights for the other incoming freshman. Assuming Livers and Wagner are gone and Dickinson comes back, what do you think the front court will look like? Who starts at the 4, John’s or Diabate? To me, Houston looks ready to start at the 3 from the moment he arrives in Ann Arbor.
Would like to see Chaundee come back and have the opportunity to be the starting 2 guard since he didn’t get that chance this year. Not saying that would make the best backcourt, just that it would be nice to see him get that opportunity. A starting backcourt of 6-5 Brown and 6-5 Zeb would be interesting defensively. Hope Zeb is ready to play.
Kind of similar to Jim Herman. Assistant coach of the year in 97 when he had Woodson, Steele, Gold & Dhani Jones. Then he evidently forgot how to coach and found a soft landing in the NFL. It is a game about the players for sure. I will say that it was frustrating watching him be so inflexible though!
I heard Campbell and Harbaugh speak at the National football foundation award ceremony in back to back years in Toledo. I think it was 2015-16. My son received an award those years. I have always been a big Harbaugh fan, including his playing days. Campbell took time with all the players and my son, a huge UM fan, loved him. Harbaugh didn’t take any time and was in and out very quickly. I understand he could of had pressing issues he had to get to. Campbell was an awesome speaker and I could see him being a great recruiter. Harbaugh, well you have all heard him speak so you can imagine. And this was before his personality changed. I’m still a Harbaugh fan and would love to see him succeed at UM, but if not, Campbell would be my 1st choice to replace him.
Anyone know what type of signing bonus these kids can expect? Son’s friend was drafted in the 4th round as a college junior and was wondering what type of offer he might get.
More speed against the zone read teams, the better. Would like to see a thumper who can run at the MIKE. Think Ross might fit that description. Will be interesting to see who forces their way into the lineup between Uche, Ross, Singleton, Anthony and Gill
Would like to see them experiment with Bush at the WILL and insert Ross at the MIKE. Still have nightmares of McRay lining up against Barkley. Bush would be a better matchup against empty backfields.

If Smith comes back, I could see:
1- Smith 30 Collins 10
2- Kobe 20 Zeb 20
3- Houston 28 T. Williams or Barnes 12
4- Johns 24 Diabate 16
5- Dickinson 28 Diabate 12
Would be a pretty typical 8 man rotation. Not sure if Williams or Barnes would be the better backup at the 3.
