01/24/2014 - 10:45pm Is there a back story to this

Is there a back story to this picture? I know it kind of speaks for itself and the context it is used in adds meaning, but do we know the location, when it was taken, who did it?

01/08/2014 - 9:02pm I haven't felt optimism like

I haven't felt optimism like this since the Hoke hire... excited for next year! The status quo was not going to cut it!

12/03/2013 - 3:17pm So many people on this board

So many people on this board and others have "won" the internet. The internet should be over by now...

11/07/2013 - 4:05am It is funny that this topic

It is funny that this topic popped up. I am in Washington DC right now and keep getting Maryland football adds at the top of mgoblog. I screen shotted it but adding figuring out how to add a picture to this post at 4am is beyond me.

11/05/2013 - 4:06am I think what hoke was saying

I think what hoke was saying about running the ball more is that he would have liked it to be more sucessful so our offense could have been more balanced. Then MSU would have had to respect our running game which would have helped the passing game. It would have been in michigans best interest to run more which we would have done had it been more effective.

11/04/2013 - 7:07pm Agreed, I thought something

Agreed, I thought something about his answers this week were a little better.

11/03/2013 - 9:21pm When I was young and going to

When I was young and going to school of UofM all I cared about was winning, but now that I am a little older I have gained much more perspective. Interestingly, cheering for basketball has helped more than anything with my football fandom. If you look at all the college teams in basketball the fact is out of 64 good teams that enter the tournament only one will have their season end with a win. It is similar with football in the BCS era, only one team wins the "national championship".

If you can't get passed wins and losses as the only measure of success you will be disappointed virtually every year in every sport college, pro, intramural, highschool, etc. I love the highs and lows of a football game, and get pretty crazy during the game, but once it is over i give myself 20-30 min to take it in and then I am on to the next thing in my life...

11/03/2013 - 12:44pm For the 2012 Alabama game i

For the 2012 Alabama game i was in Frankfort michigan staying at a cabin with my wife and friends. I had prepared myself for that game and decided to quit watching and the half after seeing how it was going. Went salmon fishing instead of watching the end of the game and caught the biggest salmon of my life... kind of  a strange evening.... but memorable...

11/03/2013 - 1:54am I wish they would have hired

I wish they would have hired me. I think baseball manager would be a pretty good gig... warm climate in the winter and chillin in the dugout....

11/03/2013 - 1:05am I totally agree with you. It

I totally agree with you. It really sucks that losing one game essentially eliminates your chances for a national title. I like college football way more than professional football in almost every way. The one thing that is nice about the pros is that you can lose and not be done for the season... you are still fighting for the playoffs... not really the case in college even though you can still fight for your conference championship...

11/02/2013 - 7:00pm as much as I hate this

as much as I hate this game... I really think we need to stick it out with Hoke for the next few years... that is all...

11/02/2013 - 5:41pm fuck everything.... only game

fuck everything.... only game that will be more painful to watch than this will be the OSU game.... dissapointed... ill keep watching praying for a miracle but i just dont think we are that good...

11/02/2013 - 5:17pm LOL, thanks for that....

LOL, thanks for that....

11/02/2013 - 5:09pm do you know what the rushing

do you know what the rushing is with sacks removed?

11/02/2013 - 3:59pm Agreed, turning a 4 yard loss

Agreed, turning a 4 yard loss into 8 does not help anything. But at least he is not doing anything crazy with the ball.

11/02/2013 - 3:49pm Such luck on that FG catch

Such luck on that FG catch and run....

11/02/2013 - 3:46pm Time for the D to step up!

thanks for the clarification.

11/01/2013 - 9:14pm yeah especially one like

yeah especially one like that. Ligaments, tendons, and muscles can be fixed or heal... nerves less so... i always cringe when i see head and/or neck injuries... they got him walking off the field though which is good

11/01/2013 - 9:11pm well he was wide open...

well he was wide open... oops!

11/01/2013 - 9:08pm Kind of strange that # 18 on

Kind of strange that # 18 on USCs defense is wearing an xxxl long sleeve shirt under his jersey... looks baggy...

11/01/2013 - 9:05pm I was going to say the same

I was going to say the same thing! That is a lot of bright reddish orange!

10/31/2013 - 5:39pm I think the little brother

I think the little brother comment is almost more relevant today than when Hart said it. The little bother comment is almost prophetic. You know what little brothers do right? They grow up. That is basically what State has done at football. We can't just push state around anymore because they can push back. You fight with your little brother but at the end of the day you don't hate him, and eventually you have to respect them. Basically where I am at now when i think of the MSU vs. UofM game. I am looking forward to a great game this weekend no matter what happens and at the end of it I won't hate MSU but i will always Love Michigan.

10/29/2013 - 9:19pm Nope, Very much looking

Nope, Very much looking forward to the next several years with Hoke as coach. First Post!! yay!
