05/29/2018 - 11:38am Been twice now

Went with my wife before we had kids and spent a week there. Didn't come close to getting half of the things we wanted to. Arlington was amazing. So were all the other presidential monuments. The memorials are so humbling. I'm grateful we as a nation memorialize like we've done

05/26/2018 - 7:09pm (Chuckle)

Logged in just to post a chuckle. I'm a high school math teacher myself, so I hold true to that ratio.

05/23/2018 - 12:09pm Not sure why

But I like you

05/22/2018 - 2:31pm A family favorite

My 3 boys (2 6-year old twins and a 3-year old) will miss Moe this next year. They have loved yelling his name out while watching games, usually just imitating their dad. They loved his celebrations, especially the tongue wag. Good luck in the NBA, Moe, and thanks for the memories.

Chuckled at the Naperville reference

05/08/2018 - 2:18pm My dads car

That was my dad's dream car. He had one growing up. We couldn't find a '69, but we ended up with a '70 when I was just getting my permit. Loved driving that car. Still want to get a muscle car; there's nothing better than the purr of that motor and being put back into your seat when you floor it

04/18/2018 - 3:29am Same process

I use ITA and Southwest. I almost always use Southwest because of 2 free bags and no charge to change flights (minus the difference in cost)
Enjoy your trip with your son

04/02/2018 - 1:08pm How long?

A user since 2012, not knowing the subs reference?

04/02/2018 - 11:39am Wife's Favorite

Little Ceasar's Crazy Bread is my expectant wife's craving. I've had my fair share of Litte Ceasar's the past 8 months. The deep dish is the best thing there. Although the crazy bread hasn't disappointed

03/23/2018 - 4:37pm 2 guys behind

2 guys behind me were pissed because my dad and I stood up for every make.

Kept asking if it was our first time. Didn't stop us from standing and cheering. Haha

03/23/2018 - 4:34pm Is it you?

Were you the one I was talking to in the aisle from 106? I wish I was faster. I probably would have purchased. Keep yelling loud if it was you. You were cracking me up yesterday

03/23/2018 - 2:33pm Loud

It was so loud and so Blue in Staples last night. I got yelled at by the 2 idiots behind me, because I kept standing up to cheer after each make. I obviously had to stand up for a lot of shots.

03/22/2018 - 8:31pm Arena is Rocking

60% Michigan fans might not be a bad estimate. This place is so Blue right now

03/22/2018 - 12:47pm Mgoblog is quick

Sorry. Guy emailed me at 9:40. Go Blue!

03/22/2018 - 12:44pm It's Gone

That was quick. Go Blue!

03/21/2018 - 11:43am From Previous Post

I would assume that for Thursday, Michigan's official section is 119.

I'm in 106 as well and we'll likely be on the Gonzaga/Texas A&M side, but besides those 4 official 100 sections, the stadium will be evenly mixed so I wouldn't worry about it.

We don't know for sure, but the best guesses are, for the official fan/donor/university tickets:

Michigan 119 (TV will show this section)
Gonzaga 102 (TV will show this section)
Texas A&M 110
Florida State 112
Bands:

Michigan 117
FSU 114
Gonzaga 105
Texas A&M 108

03/20/2018 - 2:53pm Shootaround

Never been to a tournament game. Do they do a longer shootaround? Out early like NBA games?

03/20/2018 - 2:27pm Glad

Glad you're in 106. Taking my dad and was hoping for others in that section. I'll be in row 2. I'm so pumped for this game and even more so, being that close

I've had this tab open the last hour as I keep scanning tickets.

03/18/2018 - 7:35pm Same

My daughter is due in a month and I would/will do the same if she falls in love with the game. Although that love may be forced on her like it was me

03/18/2018 - 7:16pm Okay...

03/18/2018 - 7:10pm Lived

I've lived in SoCal my whole life but never been to Staples. I'm too cheap, but I want to take my dad(an alumnus). Have you been to a game at Staples?

Is center upper better than corner angle mid?

03/18/2018 - 7:08pm Same Thought

That's what I was thinking. I assume UNC fans travel better for bball than A&M fans

02/02/2018 - 5:04pm Same

I am in the same situation as you. Very protected childhood and raising 3 boys with a girl due in April. I have had conversations with my oldest boys, (5-year-old twins) and hope and pray that they communicate if anything of this sort happens to them. My wife and I are as vigilant as we can be without being too overprotective. If I get blamed for being too overprotective, I can live with that though.

02/01/2018 - 3:04pm Agree

Had no idea of the premise/original. Got to the end and instantly regretted my time spent watching. I really like Josh Brolin as an actor, but that was just too much

01/31/2018 - 5:44pm I Can Imagine

I can imagine this kid/grown man, sitting in the basement with a cheap Chromebook, an old Android phone and an "iPad 2" in his lap, posting on the board. He then quickly changes devices upvoting and commenting on each one. Gotta be so desperate Cool guy/Orlando2

01/23/2018 - 1:30pm Assistant

Still waiting for the assistant to the regional recruiting coordinator job listing...

01/17/2018 - 5:58pm OTL Article

In the OTL article (http://www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/22046031/michigan-state-university-doctor-larry-nassar-surrounded-enablers-abused-athletes-espn), the first woman to testify, Kyle Stevens, stated that Nassar started preying on her when she was 6.

No matter the age of my child, but even more so when they are completely innocent at age 6, that would cause me guilt knowing that I allowed that to happen to my child. Kyle stated that her father understanding that he had a part in allowing the abuse to happen was detrimental to her dad eventually committed suicide.

Male or female, I'm not sure why there isn't more outrage

01/17/2018 - 3:51pm I don't look as good

My dancing is worse than my attempts at embedding a tweet. I'll just let Dennis do that

Thanks for the tip

01/17/2018 - 3:49pm I had help

Click "switch to plain text editor". This is a link at the bottom of the text box for either a comment or post/diary.
On the tweet you want to embed, click where it says "More"
On the drop-down, select "Embed Tweet"
Copy the code that appears
Paste the code into the post
Switch back to rich text editor. This button is in the same spot at the bottom of the text box as plain text editor.

Note: I'm told this does not work for forum topics or diaries. Sorry.

01/16/2018 - 2:48pm I love you Brian

This slightly contrasted with their first half shooting performance, which qualified the entire roster to join COBRA

01/09/2018 - 12:38pm Wife has RA

I feel the pain you are going through, having watched(and still watching) my wife struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and the effects that it brings. I appreciate you and the work that you bring to the blog. I'm thankful that you have a support system. Prayers to the medication working for you also.

01/09/2018 - 11:57am HS Bball Coach Here

Totally agree with your statement. Parents cause most of the issues with their lack of humility with their kids. As I raise my kids, I'm placing the situations I face with the parents in the back of my mind of what not to do when I get there.

Did you make a pro-Brandon post?
