     Even more obnoxious than

Even more obnoxious than new news posts are posts bitching about other people's posts and telling them how to do things on "THEIR" blog.  Oh, wait, it's not YOUR blog is it?

The OP didn't get any new info on Kinard, but he did get one hell of a thrashing for asking a question.  This is great, we just got another guy to be scared of posting anything for fear of another skewering at the hands of fellow M fans.

I clicked here to see if anyone contributed any news.  If so, great.  I like to hear new info.  If not, I'll move on and keep living my life.  I didn't once feel compelled to rip the guy apart for asking a question.  If you're a mod and think it should be removed, then go right ahead.  If not, disregard and move along.  There is no rational reason to do this and who are you to attack the guy for doing what he has every right to do?

To the OP

Sorry 'bout your luck here.  I too thirst for knowledge of all things Michigan.  As you can see from my points, I have also said the wrong thing before and was thrashed and negged thouroughly by the torch and pitchfork crew around these parts.  I feel for you.  It's a shame that b/c you don't have the time or patience to comb through every single post on the blog, you get lambasted for asking a question that's on your mind.  Honestly, those who don't think this post is worthy of their time, don't read it.  Someone who apparently doesn't LIVE for this blog was asking the help of his fellow M fans and was attacked for his audacity in looking for an answer to his question.

As for the torch and pitchfork crowd, maybe someone does have some information who is not an insider or master moderator.  Also, maybe b/c of the way people are attacked they felt unsure about posting it for fear of the hunters.  Give people a break, they're just fans like the rest of us.  It's not like you're required to read the post.  You just feel required and entitled to tear the poster down b/c you don't like it.

Awesome

Sounds like an interesting experience.  It would be nice if the RR dissenters could talk with these people.

You're part of the problem

You are part of the old school Bo contingent who won't let go of the past and lend your support to the current staff.  You are clinging to the memory of a ghost.  I respected Bo as much as you do.  I'm sorry, but his style of game is becoming a thing of the past and in no way fits the style of play being employed by RR.

That's it!

I stopped commenting and replying for a while to see if this would stop.  I'd remove the post if I could.   I even said I was done.  Will you people let it die?  No.  So I will say it one more time.  I am done posting on this thread.  I will defer to all of you who say that I am wrong.  Since you obviously have to be right for voting me down and tearing apart everything I said.  I am so terribly sorry that my opinion clashed with yours.  It will never happen again.  Next time just let me know what my opinion should be and that's what I'll type.  It's my opinion and view people.  I thought I might be able to say what I was thinking in a free forum, on the internet, from a free country.  I guess I was wrong.

I'm done

I am done.  I will never look at this post again.  Once again, I apologize.  Thanks for the negbang.

I have a tough time with ND to Big 12

I don't see ND going to a conference where they wouldn't have a lot of the influence in decisions.  We've seen how much clout Texas has in the conference.  Not only that, but the money isn't there like it is in the Big Ten.

Fairness

I just hope for competitive balance and preservation of big rivalries.  After that, I don't have a preference.

Hope it's entertaining

I don't really have a horse in this race, I just hope it's a great game to watch.

Shootouts

Looks like you're going to have to score a lot of points to win with M on this game.  Especially if you're going to use them online.

I agree with many of you.

I don't see many of the NFL prospect guys leaving for M.  A questionable shot at a bowl and a different system?  The 12 regular season games will still be able to let the scouts see their abilities.  Too bad, we could sure use some talented bodies.

Good news.

I hope that everyone coming has a great time.  A great impression this early on would certainly boost our chances with a lot of these guys it sounds like.

I am sorry.

I am so terribly sorry for bothering any of you with this thread.  I was hoping to have a civilized conversation of like minded people about a topic that has me irritated.  I guess people don't want that sort of crazy activity around here. It won't happen again.  I throw myself at your mercy.

by the way

By the way, thank you for just proving your hint #5 correct.

Thanks for the critique.

Thanks for the critique.  I'll take all your bullet points to heart when writing MY points of view.  Seriously, I feel bad for anyone who posts anything around here.  There is an unending amount of vultures just ready to tear apart anyone for having their own point of view and be willing to express it.

Never once did I try to tell

Never once did I try to tell anyone how to run anything.  I only state that there is a chance to help a kid and better the process in the meantime.  None of this is an indictment of the schoold or Mr. Dorsey.  It's only a statement of what I'd hoped could happen for a young man and a school.

I did not say that

Never once did I say we, as fans, dislike him.  I am only stating that the school could've used some more thought on what was at stake for the school as well as Mr. Dorsey.  I would hope that the school would want the opportunity to help shape a productive member of society along with a great athlete.

It's a diary

This is a diary post.  My chance to share a point of view with fellow M fans.  It is not meant to provide earth shattering news for you and you alone.  My point is to simply express my opinion on the Dorsey matter.  If you're tired of talking about it, don't read it.  Do you really have nothing else to do but cut down people who express their views without being completely cynical and providing mindless cartoons to do so?

Sorry for perplexing you

I apologize for trying to have an intelligent conversation about an important issue.  Next time I'll post an infantile MS Paint and small captions for you.

I understand your point

I understand your point.  However, whether his means of getting his grades up was orthodox or not, he made the effort.  He was doing his best to meet the standards he needed to.  I am only upset that Michigan wouldn't meet him halfway on this.  It just shows an unwillingness to let someone prove their worthiness.  I disagree that it was the right decision.  I don't see how it's a comeback story when he was never there to begin with.  Maybe a coming of age story.

As far as being dated, this is a past, present, and future issue.  Michigan could've set a precedent.  As I said, if he failed, then the lesson is learned.  How do you know until you try?  All you'd be out is a scholarship player.  That's the way it is now, regardless.

If he doesn't get faster he can get bigger Even if he doesn't get faster he can get bigger and switch spots. He does tackle pretty well and anticipates and flows with the run well, too. Barwis could beef him up a bit and he could play the spot vacated by Stevie Brown. That way he could provide run support and be in pass coverage less. He gives great effort and brings the ball carrier down. Just thinking out loud. It wouldn't hurt, as seen this year with Brown, that having a LB that has had some secondary experience and tackles well is beneficial considering the state of our LB corps right now. I understand we have some recruits for that spot and other spots at LB, but wouldn't it be a nice change of pace to not push inexperienced frosh and redshirt freshmen into playing, and possibly killing their confidence, and use someone who has plenty of playing time along with a possible ability to fill that role well? I'm just thinking about getting back to the natural order of things. Having young guys come in and play back up and be coached up rather than being barbecued and served up like sacrificial lambs so early in their development.
I am going! I am terribly excited to say that I am going to my first Michigan game this weekend in Iowa City. I am a lifelong (31 yrs) Michigan fan. I paid waaaaay toooo much for the tickets on eBay, but I wasn't going to miss this opportunity as this is the closest Michigan ever plays to where I live. Hopefully this joyous occasion brings a victory to Big Blue. Enjoy the game and GO BLUE!
Iowa game Just want to shout from the rooftops, I am going to Iowa City for this game and it will be my first ever Michigan game. I live in northwest Iowa and it's hard to get to Michigan games very often. I live 6 hours from Iowa City and Minneapolis. Thanks to ebay! Go Blue!
Center Maybe we should be more concerned with Moosman getting Tate the ball before we worry about his throwing shoulder.
