I joined today but I have been reading Mgoblog for a few years now. I went to U of M and I am a huge fan of UM football. If you guys don't want to answer the question that's fine. I know the topic may have come off a bit pro-buckeye but it's just something I have been wondering about. I'm gonna be posting on here from time to time and you'll see that I'm no troll.
Bottom line: this kid's a zero. He has nothing going for himself and has a bleak future. That's why he's so obsessed with spewing his hatred in long winded, convoluted messages across the internet. I'm sorry, in America we uphold the constitution. Who is this fucktard to question the founding fathers? If you're a cfb fan, you never berate the kids like this guy does and you support your program unconditionally. Negative, hateful people like this never contribute much to society and should be ignored.
1) Like many others have already said, these rankings change many times throughout the year. These players still have an entire season of HS football to play! They're going to attend camps, all star games, and amass much more game footage. There is no way that these preliminary lists are even close to being accurate and complete. Guys like JT turner, Gallon, and Roh saw their stock explode after an all star game. Taylor Lewan and Lalota came onto the scene after a position switch their senior year.
2)Player development. I have full faith that Rich Rod and Barwis will be able to develop and get as much out of their players as any other program in the country. The video's of spring practice are encouraging and there is an increased emphasis on fundamentals. Seeing Rod's record from WVU, I don't think that we'll have to worry about 4 star and 5 star talent underachieving.
3) There is a lot of time left. We are going to end up signing a lot of good prospects who aren't even mentioning us right now. This is a fact. We're gonna turn some things around this season and catch recruits' attention.
4) Rich is a great honest recruiter. Robinson has a superbowl ring to match Weiss'. Barwis is the best S&C coach. Rich history, great staduim, etc. We have a lot to offer.
I don't give a rats ass about the rankings. Think about the guys we could get this year: Wood, cullen, Mathis, Lavey, garner, miller, marvin robinson, bryant, jackson, clay, luc, etc. Whatever way to try to quantify it, if we get the majority of those players that is a hell of a recruiting class. So calm down budday.
