I think Mullen is overrated as a coach. He can let teams back into games(i.e. yesterday against Aub and earlier this year against LSU) by making boneheaded coaching decisions(i.e. yesterday's failed fake punt and putting in his backups towards the end of the game against LSU a few weeks ago).
PS: And like everyone else, I think he's headed to UF. As a LSU fan, I can't believe we beat UF last night. We've been playing like crap, UF's a tough play to play and we still come out w/the victory.
New poster here. Got a question for you guys. Would you accept Dan Mullen at UM? In my opinion, he seems like a bad fit(i.e. Rich Rod). I know he's from the northeast, but he's coached at primarily southern schools(UF, Miss St. and Bowling Green). After what happened w/RR, I would think you guys would be leery to hire a coach from a Southern school.
Hi guys. Big fan of the blog. First time poster. As you can obviously tell, LSU fan here. I've seen Mark Stoops' name(Kentucky HC) mentioned as a possibility for the UM job around some parts of the Net but not here. Is he a possibility? I know he's from Ohio and recruits around ya'll's area?
PS: Putting it out there. Don't think ya'll will be interested in Les, especially with the way LSU's playing this season. Some idiot on TigerDroppings(an LSU message board I know ya'll have heard of) thinks Les is mailing in this season and will be the next coach at UM.
