They don't go there to play school.

You're not right very often…

You're not right very often.  But you're wrong this time.  The offense will continue to ground and pound.  Not perhaps as excellent as last year without JJ.  But better than good with a great O-line, great tight ends, great RBs, and athletic wideouts and QB.  Matched with a better than excellent Defense, will should challenge for the Natty again.  Like '97, great D, adequate O.  Go Blue!

Don't care.  Won't click. Won't drop any $$ in the state of ohio.  When traveling, I fly over whenever possible.  When I must drive through, I gas up in Michigan by the state line then after I'm out of ohio.  I WILL stop and pis or take a dump on the state whether nature calls or not.  Fuck 'em.  GO BLUE!!!

In the interview linked above, he mentioned he didn't travel so well these days.  Sounds like his physical health is struggling a bit.  Said he was running out of gas when he retired in 2007.

Wow!  Great interview. …

Wow!  Great interview.  Thanks for posting that link, LBSS.  It was a pleasure listening to Lloyd's wit and wisdom as he reflected on his past. And Fred Heumann, now there's a blast from the past.  I thought Lloyd looked pretty good, considering.  And he struck me as pretty sharp still.  Thanks again.

QB's generally seem to reap…

QB's generally seem to reap most of the praise (and MVP awards) and probably deservedly so.  But IMO Roman Wilson has been an unselfish, unsung hero of this incredibly efficient offense all year (and last year, too).  From his breakaway speed and precision route running, to micro-focused concentration on goal-line receptions in the tightest of windows, to a behind-the- defender's helmet circus reception in the back of the end zone, to his super-focused catch and run of a fingertip-altered pass (when an incompletion would doom the outcome of the biggest game of the season), to the most ordinary, simple 5-yard out-pattern, taken-for-granted catch that ended in an innocent little skip-jump goal line dagger into the heart of Alabama's hopes.  Roman Wilson has been nothing if not critically important to this once-in-a-generation team.  Love that guy.  And don't even get me started on Big-game Clutch, Cornelius Johnson.  My fingers are cramping.  GO BLUE!!!

Fuck ESPN.  Boycotting until I'm forced to watch (Rose Bowl).  Not missing anything so far,

from what I read.  Go Blue!

Can't watch any of these…

Can't watch any of these meaningless games.  Even if I actually wanted to.  F*@k ESPN, Pete Thamel, Rese Davis, ESPN, ABC, Disney, the SEC, Paul Finebaum, ESPN, and their SEC lovin', Harbaugh-hatin', Harbaugh-smearing agenda.  F*@k the B1G Commissioner, Ryan Day, and Greg Schiano while I'm at it.  And did I mention ESPN.  F*@k 'em.

Boycotting until I'm forced.

Sorry, not sorry.

Can we just go ahead now and set the record straight?  According to Herbstreit-ology, Michigan beat TCU in last year's playoff game even though TCU deserved the win (by outscoring us) because we were undoubtedly the better team.  There.  Fixed it.

Love the crowd noise.  Gives me goose bumps.

Couldn't agree more.  You…

Go Blue!

Couldn't agree more.  You…

Couldn't agree more.  You touched on perhaps an underappreciated point.  We took all three of their timeouts.  Having timeouts (even one) to use on offense at the end of a close game is critical to your chances of coming from behind.  It's like taking bullets from the chamber.  Had to be deflating.  It was surgical.

I love you like a…

I love you like a dragonparent loves a Dragonchild.  But every good parent occasionally must punish their child when the moment calls for it.  As much as I can understand your pessimism, sometimes it's better to keep it to yourself.  It does no good to share negative thoughts when they only serve to bring others down.  A good parent would try to help you understand that if you cannot say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Therefore, I am sending you to your room... except, this time, with dinner (steak and milk), where you are required to watch the "2021 Michigan Football: Sometimes When You're On" (on YouTube) over and over until you are ready to accept that a new morning has dawned.  This is a new era.  And there is every good reason to evolve into an optimist.

It starts with Harbaugh.

The past is past.  Yesterday is yesterday.  Life moves on!

The sooner you accept this reality, the sooner you can come out of your room.  And watch The Game until the Day is done!

I will end this teaching moment like any good dragonparent should; by letting you know I'm only punishing you because need to learn this lesson in life, and because you are still a good Michigan fan and Dragonchild.  And I love you, as I love all my dragonchildren.

This.  So could the FOIA…

This.  So could the FOIA help reveal the discussions behind the settlement or the reasoning for it?  Otherwise, if Harbaugh never addresses the motivation for settling, how could we ever find out HIS thinking.  As an invested customer of all things UofM, I feel like I am at least due a logical explanation.  I love him but his press conferences are painfully vague.  I seem to learn more about nervous birds than the issues at hand.

Why not just be done now?  I…

Why not just be done now?  I bet you're gonna quit smoking, too.  Tomorrow.  Right after this pack is gone.

I have the impression that…

I have the impression that both sides have a case that could possibly win; or lose.  Having lived through a civil case that was settled just before trial, I ended with the impression that if it's not a slam dunk on either side, then it could be very expensive for one side, the other, or both to continue in court.

The objective becomes: can we find a way to settle in which both sides can save face, claim some measure of victory, stop the bleeding, and save the bank?

A settlement proposal could perhaps reflect the following:  Michigan admits its staff member Stallions acted alone in violating the in-person scouting rule resulting in a possible competitive advantage.  As a result, Michigan's head coach accepts suspension for a total of two consecutive regular season games instead of the original three.  And Michigan will install institutional controls to ensure this doesn't happen going forward.

The Big Ten would then consider the matter closed going forward and will not consider additional evidence that may be uncovered or revealed as it relates to this matter involving Conner Stallions, and will not prosecute this case any further.

Of course, the language would need to be forged in legalese, the art of which would be in the hands of lawyers, which I obviously am not.

Understand, that I am not necessarily advocating for this.  I am only looking for a compromise that could end this dark episode with both parties putting it behind them without suffering any additional risk of embarrassment or loss.  Enough.

This settlement would result in Michigan paying for its staff member's relatively minor misbehavior, and the League would cease its premature and overzealous prosecution of Michigan without due process.

It would be kind of nice to have this over with and Harbaugh back on the sidelines against our hated rivals, taking out our bottled-up frustrations on Ryan Day and his Buckeyes, and winning with violence.

Neg away if this is not an acceptable solution.  I just can't picture what else a civil and rational end-game solution could look like.

And GO BLUE!!!

That's the bottom line. …

That's the bottom line.  Well said.

I think the 4 and 1 Shotgun…

I think the 4th and 1 Shotgun formation is to put something on film that says we're stubborn and you must defend against running straight up the middle, when in fact an RPO will burn you alive when and IF we ever actually NEED that first down.  Not to mention Outside Zone as an option.

I also think we have one hell of a passing attack that will be deployed when and IF we need it.  CJ plays big in big games.  I expect he will have a big game against PSU and oSU .  With Roman Wilson being target #1, who do you put your best Corner on in Man Coverage?  Add a potent mix of Donovan Edwards as a receiver and sprinkle in our latest secret weapon Semaj Morgan.... I mean, who do you stop?  Toss in a lethal dose of Loveland and Barner and OMG.  Pick your poison.

The 2023 version of Michigan and JJ relies on its running game at its leisure.

I am not convinced PSU can match up on defense against Michigan this year.  And I am convinced our defense can contain this unimpressive PSU offense.

This board worries a bit too much. (BPONE?)  I dunno.  My eyes tell me Michigan BIG on Saturday.  My heart tells me this is a statement game.  Michigan 40.  PUS 10.  GO BLUE!!!

I've only clicked on Hole's…

I've only clicked on Hole's YouTube channel a couple of times.  The first time he spent 20 minutes telling me he had juicy info but wouldn't share it.  My thought was "Clickbait".  "My God, man, you could have saved me a lot of time if you would just get to the point."  The second time I thought, "Yep, I won't waste any more time with this channel".  Just wish he would value his viewers' time, more.  Tempted, to check in one more time, but I think I'll just wait to read on this board that he actually reported something, then, give him another try. FIVE-minute YouTube videos are worth their weight in time, which at my age, is gold.

Just chimed in to say thanks to EYB for reporting this research on this Blog.  I've read literally thousands of your comments but rarely see you post.  This is important content that adds some measured balance to what has been an all-out assault on the reputation of Michigan Football under Jim Harbaugh.  If nothing else it sheds much-needed light on how influential people with agendas COULD do damage to a program not allowed to defend itself....yet.  Thanks and Go Blue!!!
