I wouldn't sleep on Nebraska! They had a top 25 recruiting class in their first "true" year with Coach Riley. They also have a very good looking 4-Star QB in Patrick O'Brien. While I don't see them at the level of Michigan, OSU, or MSU, I definetly think they will beat Iowa and could give one of those 3 trouble. They have frequently beaten MSU as of late...
And then there is former Detroit Tiger Yoenis Cespedes driving a new exotic car everyday... he did almost single-handedly carry the Mets through the postseason to be fair though.
On Forbes, you technically can't even access their site if you have ad-block enabled. Given there are ways around it, I know of some ad-block programs that can omit designated sites(i.e. MGoBlog) so they still get ad revenue. Growing up in the digital age, I personally hardly even notice nor are annoyed by ads as long as they aren't obtrusive.
Precisely! It's a very fine line. I obviously want the best for Spike, but I also want the best for Michigan as a whole. I'm sure it won't end up making a drastic difference, but it still hurts.
Great post Seth! I always enjoy reading your analizations. The subtle humor paired with the wealth of quality information made this a good read. While it is still a spring game, Don Brown's defense does look promising.
I strongly agree with both of you! Pains me to say it but we should try to emulate MSU in that factor... it'd be cool to have the student section stretch around all or the majority of the lower bowl. It enhances home court advantage, makes the arena look full, etc. They also make more money from concessions and such.
I saw him in concert and my father had the honor of meeting him. Great man and a great singer spanning all generations like someone earlier noted. RIP.
That clears it up perfectly! I will definitely use/save this for the future. Also good to know I didn't necessarily do anything wrong to lose points, which caused me to worry.
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to thoroughly describe the process to me. I hope to return the favor sometime! Have a great weekend.
Very unrelated, and I'm pretty new here so I apoligize, but how the heck do MGoPoints work? It seems you must have a certain level to post, and that you can lose them. But HOW? I love the community so far and have had intellectual discussions with people, but have lost points and am unsure why. If someone could brief me on this I'd greatly appreciate it. I have researched around but haven't found a clear answer. Thanks, I greatly appreciate it! And happy Friday.
Alright two things...
1. Lovie Smith is NOT going to Michigan. Yes, we have NFL ties and a working program, but I'm sure he'd much rather be in the NFL and will probably get another HC gig.
2. The Bucs should NOT have fired Lovie Smith! I thought the general consensus was 3 years at least for a coach? He had a dang rookie QB and barely had time to mold his style to the team. Adding and firing coaches every two years won't make you good Tampa.
True true.
What's even worse is the Aqua trainer publicly apologized taking blame for lack of cup supply. Instead of a punishment, he gave the NFL-prone Waterboy 3 extra helmet stickers. The kid is always right at Cheater U.
Late to the party, but that was a hell of a game! I could easily see one or both of those teams in the Final Four. Buddy Heil will win the Wooden Award! 3OT No. 1 vs. No. 2 high talent college basketball doesn't get much better.

I am mightily afraid to play Rutgers... their Quarterback may take a knee on 4th down.

Don't forget about Irvin either! Both of them came up big the in the clutch!
I'm going to have nightmares about Indiana tonight. Can we PLEASE not allow what happened last time to repeat itself?
