Sometimes this board is a bit too inclusive though. Even if a person here didn't graduate from UM, they should still be intelligent enough to not watch Mike and Mike.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a member of the working class. But this is a board intended for graduates of one of the Top 25 universities in the world. Frankly, in no way should the demographics of this board and Mike and Mike overlap.
My recommendation was Squawk Box. It doesn't require a Wharton MBA to follow.
The target audience for Mike and Mike is an average 6th grader and his working class father. This board is better than that.
This one stings a little. DeWeaver is a rising star, and will be great for whichever school he goes to. Wish Harbaugh could have convinced him to stay.
Regardless, anti-semitism(aka jealousy and anti social behavior) is the reason all non UM alumni who post here want to see these guys tarred and feathered. They think, "Those guys are primed to make it in life, and due to friendships from college they typically have an easy shake at life. I'm gonna show them...."
Before people start throwing out subtly anti Semitic remarks about kicking these guys out for being a Jewish organization, they need to realize something. Jewish families from the east coast are a large part of why the UM endowment is currently $10B. I'm sure there are plenty of kids in this frat who will donate millions to the school over their lifetimes. Frankly, I'd rather have those millions in donations than making sure there is "justice". It's not like Jewish frats are training grounds for murderers.
I get a kick out of people who didn't attend UofM offering any type of opinion on this matter. Like they have any clue about anything. Ann Arbor is a place where future leaders make connections and blow off steam for a few years after high school. It's not like working class colleges in Michigan where the local cops try to make sure everyone is logged in the criminal system before graduation.
