If I see you at a game this year, I’m giving you a hug, if that’s weird, a high-five, if that’s weird, a hearty handshake, if that’s weird, a pat on the back, if all of that is weird, just know that I appreciate everything you’ve done on this site. Without ever meeting in person, you’ve made me laugh many times over, you’ve talked me off more than a few ledges, you’ve made me think critically about more than football & sports in general, we disrespected the juggalos together & then immediately learned the error of our ways & corrected course. Thanks for all you have done & will continue to do. I look forward to the future with great pride & optimism, as we all have tried to do for more than a decade being Michigan football fans
As the resident college hockey fan at work, I can attest that this is a great & spot on article. One of these years I’ll get more than 2 other people to participate in my NCAA tournament hockey bracket. We always get 40+ for the basketball bracket.
I don’t blame Brian for not writing anything about this game, what is there to write anyway? I feel bad that he will UFR it but at least maybe we’ll find out someone had a decent game? Acceptable game, maybe? It doesn’t matter, I’ll go to the Rutgers game with my dad on Saturday like I do for every home game for the last 30 years. We’ll have breakfast at Benny’s, I’ll cheer for the team, I’ll yell at the refs, I’ll do The Victors (hopefully a lot) but who the hell knows at this point. The rest of this season & probably every season the rest of my life will be hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
