Lets not lose sight that M has plenty of improving to do. M had way too many miss opportunities. While it did not cost points, those 54 penalty yards given on MSU's last possession was embarrassing and undisciplined.
Sorry, a simple victim of a meritocracy. With 340 total yards in 2 years McDoom did not do much but take up a roster spot. Trot him out on the field and opposing D could bet on a jet sweep.
Best wishes to him.
I recall one of my first engineering classes at M. We were all told to look to our right and then left...and then told "Realize that odds are either you, or the person to your right or left will not be here to graduate..."
Climate change is nothing new. That said, being efficient with resources is certainly wise, regardless of the resource. Money, or wealth, is a resource. A community needs to prioritize how to spend the money they have.
BTW, $4.3M will resurface about 2-3 miles of roadway. Ann Arbor has 287 miles of roads...
What offensive player would want to go to Michigan? Player development on that side of the ball has been sorely lacking. That is not on the players, that is on the coaches. MSU and Wisconsin are head and shoulders better than Michigan in developing players.
If things do not click this year it will be time of a Brian Kelly-esque house cleaning.
...except that the college playoff teams are power teams. The 3 teams that finished ahead of us in the east are power teams, the winner of the west is a power team. Yep, power football is dead... To quote the article title: "Whatever"
11-2, minimum. Position by position our players are as talented, if not more so, than MSU and Wisconsin. Why do they not perform? Coaching. M needs to retool the offensive staff. Sorry, Drevno is not the guy.
Given his dominance, it seems appropriate that someone should put a highlight clip together with the background music being Wagner's "The Ride of the Valkyries". Sorry, I am not the tech guy to do it....I'm just an idea guy. :)

That QB you cannot recall is the head coach.
Other than the name what did he show that warranted him being on the field? I think people liked the concept that he was reportedly fast.

Tight ends were consistent but can we say anyone really developed? (Gentry perhaps) Bunting never did and now he is looking elsewhere.

"Oklahoma and Georgia are both spread teams"
Not at all in a Rich Rod kind of way.

Rich Rod's 2009 team produced 354 points.
Harbaugh's 2015 and 2016 teams produced 408 and 524 respectively.
If you watched yesterday's Rose Bowl, both teams more resembled Harbaugh's scheme than Rich Rod's.
You can keep your Rich Rod offense. Harbaugh's brand still has the ability to produce more consistant wins.

"If he did it, then the kid is a fucking jackass and should be INCARCERATED."
I do agree with others that it is too early to jump to conclusions. There is too little information available to make a judgement at this point.

So the ghost of Bo steps behind Brady as he tosses a pass to Harbaugh... Amazing. :)
