Forgive me if this is already a thread topic. I couldn't find one quite like it in the list at right.
I'm curious as to what people think of the early pre-season ranking for the Men's Basketball team. A #9 ranking nationally might be good for the ego of the fans, but are they REALLY that good?

A #9 preseason ranking means that Michigan basketball is back. Coach B has officially made our team newsworthy (in a good way) again.

I love it. Polls have no bearing on the national championship in basketball, so they're largely meaningless. But it can be used as confirmation to recruits that our program is back.
