I wouldn't go there. It is even too weird for me, and that is saying a lot. But two of my favorite theme restaurants are the Dogwater Cafe chain in Tampa Bay, and the late, great Shingle Shack somewhere around Lima, OH. The Dogwater used to serve food in dog dishes, with all of the selections named after various breeds of dogs. The bathrooms are labelled "Rottweilers" and "Poodles." Most people correctly figure out the gender. Sadly, though, the last time I went to a Dogwater Cafe, I got served on a regular plate. It was a great run, though. As for the Shingle Shack, it was on I-75 on the way back to Ann Arbor from most points south. The featured dish was, you guessed it, creamed chipped beef in white gravy on toast, or "Shit on a Shingle," abbreviated as "SOS." Either I missed it the last time I drove up to Michigan in 2003, or it is gone. But I would certainly go to either of those places before going to the Modern Toilet. Back to Dogwater, they are a sports bar and have the Big Ten Network, so I do occasionally go there.

"I GUESS THIS GIVES NEW MEANING TO PU PU PLATTER, EH?" There's a delivery place in Columbus called "Taco Ninja." I was told that during the first week they were open, the delivery people would dress up as ninjas and try to hide in the bushes when they showed up at your place.

My professor for economies of pacific rim told us about some other strange themed restaurants. One was prison themed where you would be taken to your table in handcuffs. Other was a hospital themed one. The waitresses are dressed as nurses and you sit in a wheelchair. They also serve shots in syringes. I think both places are in Taiwan IIRC.
