Watching Michigan games in another state/Slingbox

Submitted by jrt336 on
If I decide to go to college out of state next year, is the slingbox the best way to watch Michigan games? Can you only watch the games live or can you access your tivo/dvr and watch them a day or two later?

Had mine hooked for my buddy that was living in Korea for the past year to watch all M games, live. You can access all functions of the set top box as though you were right there.

Don't have a sling box but I have a Hava. Same concept, though. You have full access to your cable box, which is fun when you have parents to play a prank on. Where are you looking to go to school if you don't mind me asking.

If you have Tivo or any other DVR, you can definitely watch the game later. I've had one hooked up to a DISH network DVR box in Grand Rapids while I'm in Ann Arbor so that I can watch the Lions when they're blacked out here. Works really well as long as you have a fast enough internet connection on both sides.
