Hail to the Victors! W lax beat CMU this afternoon in Evanston 13-6. After CMU scored first, the women scored 7 in the 1Q, then finished the half at 10-1.

Jill Smith had 4G, Erin Garvey 3G, and Jane Fetterolf 2G, 2A.

The women’s game is in Evanston.. On a Sunday.   I would usually go and cheer on the Maize & Blue, as I do whenever any Michigan team plays NW in Evanston.  

But, it’s Mother’s Day… the perfect conflict for the family brunch.   Unfortunate scheduling.
