TV Coverage of the Delaware State Game
I was checking both Time Warner and DirecTV for this weekend's game. TW, at least in my area of Ohio, near Columbus, is carrying the OSU game in HD. DirecTV has OSU as its primary game (in HD), but also has channels designates as BTNa, suggesting alternate coverage, and they indeed show Michigan-Delaware State, but there is no HD designation.
Does anyone know if the game is in HD on these alternate channels?
Thanks

Usually these overflows are not in HD, in my area anyway.

*Only* in HD in my area. And I don't have an HD TV, thus, don't get BTN-HD. And I upgraded my cable, too, to avoid situations like this... this blowwwssss!!!!!!!
(Thanks for the link, though.)

If it's not on BTN-HD, then it's not going to be in HD.

The game will be broadcast in HD (http://www.bigtennetwork.com/schedule/index.asp). Sorry if the link doesn't work.
DirecTV will show it in HD, even if it's on one of the alternates / overflows channels. I believe this week it'll be on channel 611-1.

If you have BTN are you able to watch BTNa for free or do you have to call about adding it?

I don't think there are any providers that charge extra for the alternates. The difference in providers is how many they offer. I have DirecTV and they offer all of the alternates. I have friends around the country that have Charter and Comcast and they only offer one or two alternates (which is fine for most weeks).

BTN also replays the alternate feed games on the primary feed, usually late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. As my cable company only carries the primary feed, my plan is to set the DVR for the replay. Also, I will probably hit up the local drinking establishment to watch the live version.
