There are...
...days until Devin Funchess (WR 2012-2014) sees the Wolverines get their 142nd season started as they host Western at Michigan Stadium on September 4th.

Go Blue.
Of course, the reason Mr. Funchess had that number for a period of time was to honor the illustrious career of one of Michigan's greatest all-around athletes. The Detroit native, here's #87...
Enjoy!
Ticket from the game in which the #87 was presented as a part of the legends program...
It's fun looking at these ticket prices over time. $2.75 in 1942, $25 in1994, $32 in 1997, and then BOOM $75 in 2016. Did you upgrade your seats or have ticket prices increased at about 2x the rate of inflation? (I haven't been to a game since I left the state in the late 90s).
This man just reported to minicamp from the Packers after opting out last year. Hoping he does some things for them this year.
Ah yes, in the glory days of the "Legends" patches and jerseys.
Question: How do you make your own legacy if you only allow yourself to honor the past? Boom!
As I recall, you begin this process by first forgetting about the Dave Brandon era in the athletic department. If possible, club the memories with a large and equally imaginary macaroni noodle, then in the recesses of your mind, put the noodle in metaphorical boiling water until it disintegrates in an equally metaphorical manner.
And then, we quit drinking and go to bed!
This is a good time to remind people to not get upset about the losses this coming season. They're just stats.
