It's probably to get them recruiting exposure in California. Either that or Brewster is enough of a meathead to think that his program will be able to compete with SC by then.

Well, considering Michigan and OSU are getting blown out by USC every time, can't even imagine how ugly the Minnesota-USC game would become. Once Michigan becomes respectable again, I'd like for them to schedule a home-and-home with a solid BCS team, but with ND on the schedule every year, that probably won't happen.

Well USC has already blown out Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Illinois in the last 3 years. I suppose Carroll got tired of dominating the Pac-10 and is moving onto dominating other conferences now.

Good for Minnesota for not scheduling a pansie. Bad for USC for scheduling a cupcake (for them). The potential gain for Minnesota is much higher than it is for USC.

It's about time Minnesota put another BCS school in their non conference schedule. I don't know about the rest of you, but I get PISSED when other Big Ten schools (Wisconsin, I'm looking in YOUR direction) don't put at least one BCS school in the non-conference schedule. I think it reflects poorly on the conference...

It's a nice looking stadium, but it's just a little guy. Only like 54,000 or something like that. Plus it's called TCF Bank Stadium. "All it takes is a little TCF, all it takes is a little TCF Bank."

The prospect of playing a late November game in an open-air stadium in Minneapolis would be a little concerning. Even worse, if any of those playoff proposals that include home games for the higher seeds is implemented, imagine playing a late December/early January game in that place. Brrr...

also, it depends on what time of year they schedule SC. If they can get them at home later in the year the boys from southern cal wouldn't do as well in the minnesota fall weather. brrrr pussies.
