Michigan's entry was selected by the Department fo Energy as one of the top 5 of the 26 total entries.
There is a now second contest underway for "People's Choice Award." In otherwords..... whichever team can solicit the most votes. Description of what's at stake:
The video that receives the most votes by 5:00 p.m. EST on May 24th will win the People’s Choice Award. Like the other winning videos, it will be shown and the video team honored on-stage by the judges at the EFRC Summit on May 25th. In addition, two members from each of the winning teams selected by the judges will enjoy a free trip to the EFRC Summit & Forum.
Berkeley's entry currently has 546 votes. Texas' has 440. Michigan is third at 332.
I am a product of the CoE but I have no affiliation with this contest. I've seen the vote solicitation come across my Facebook feed and chose to pass it on since our blog members have an affinity for infiltrating internet poll contests and this is one where we can directly help out current students.

The Michigan entry is titled "Heart of the Solution - Energy Frontiers" and is the last one on the page.
I went to the page, clicked the bottom one, just as I realized it said something about "Austin", and I had almost voted for Texas!
Upon further examination, the UM video was 2nd on the page when I loaded it.
I'm guessing it moves around for some reason (maybe so no automated programs can cheat?).
Thanks for the link.
Voted with each email address I have... Now the question is do I start using made up email addresses? Nah, our community will take care of this.
I voted initially when I saw this posted by the CoE a week or two ago. I'm glad to see this post seems/may have helped already, but I'm sure we can do a lot more. It takes two seconds to vote.
Somehow this doesn't sit well with me.
We are Michigan dammit. We bitch slap other COE's in the solar car race, we send alums into space (!), we have alums that play in the NFL AND work at Hedge funds...
WE DO NOT ENTER VIDEO CONTESTS!
