News about former M kickers' kids

I had some time to go down a rabbit hole this afternoon and found a couple nuggets that some Michigan fans might find interesting.

First of all, former Michigan kicker Jeff DelVerne's son Drew committed to Toledo as a part of the 2020 class. I think he's a preferred walk-on. Sadly, Drew's brother Colt (as some may remember) died from DIPG in November of 2018, which is the same disease that caused the death of Chad Carr (of ChadTough). Here's a link to the ChadTough Foundation if you feel like learning or donating (LINK).

Second, Remy Hamilton's son Tate is a quarterback at Allen High School in Texas, which is a powerhouse. He's a class of 2022 kid and I believe played on the JV team. Some people 'round these parts may be more in tune with Texas football than I am, but Allen's varsity QB was a 5'9", 152 lb. senior named Raylen Sharpe who was productive but is obviously undersized. If Tate continues to be a starter at Allen as he gets older, he could be in line for quite a bit of exposure and some nice offers. I'll post his highlights below.

Thank you for that mags! I didn't know that about Hamilton.  Now it gives me good reason to check out a few Allen games next year.  I live close to there.
