New show to spotlight Michigan football team's trip to France

"A 30-minute episode, "Maize & Bleu: Michigan Football in France," will debut this Saturday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m. on FS1, according to a news release issued Wednesday.

Produced by The Montag Group, the same production company that led Michigan's Amazon Prime series, the show will re-air through the rest of the month on FS1 and Big Ten Network.

According to the release, the show followed the team around on its six-night, seven-day jaunt through France: on its tour of the Louvre, visit to the Notre-Dame de Paris, a private visit to the Palace of Versailles and, yes, Michigan's day trip to Normandy."
