But I am always sad to see a football I'd like autographed as one of those goofy all-white novelty balls. I realize it makes it much easier to see the signature, but IMO a regulation NCAA brown "M" football signed by players would be far more attractive to bidders.

Even if the signature is less visible, a regulation autographed ball has a lot more appeal because it is an actual football of the sort that players use. I for one would be seriously after that Woodley ball if it were a regulation ball. Just a thought.
