Meta: HD App Fails to Load Menus

Hey everyone, I've been trying to use the MGoBlog HD app from my iPad. Lately, it's often failed to load the dropdown menu key in the top left. Basically, I can open the app and it will show the latest front page story, but it lacks the option to view the board, diaries, or any previous content. Anyone know why this is happening? I really like the app's aesthetics and notification feature and would love to continue to use it.

I don't have trouble with it on my iphone.

BUT.... Has anyone noticed it uses A TON of bandwidth??

I would really like to see that addresseed. I've used 800 mb in it the last month; and I'm not watching videos from within the app or anything.

That's way, way too much for what is essentially a browser devoted just to this site.

I love the look of it but this should be looked at by the developer. I had to download the other app to use when I'm not connected to wifi and that's just annoying to need to have 2 apps.

I haven't been able to post from the Android app for quite some time now.

EDIT: Never mind, it just worked.  I recently got a new phone so that may have something to do with it (my old one was f'ing up left and right, though a simple uninstall/reinstall probably would've fixed things).

Note 4 FTW.

It was updated in November. I thnk this is something that changed with the update. As weasel3216 said, drag the left side to see the menu.

I believe the HD and Android apps are done by two different developers, but I know they both have accounts here so hopefully they see this thread and can answer your questions. As someone who does use the HD app on occasion, I did have the same issue over the weekend on my own iPad as well - had to do what Mweasel described above. .

and can't use the enter key to move to the next line. I can't ever post a second paragraph...it started a couple of weeks ago.  Is that because of my chosen input format or something?

This is a known issue. In the meantime you can rotate the iPad to landscape mode or use a slide gesture in the upper left.

PSA: please keep your iOS apps updated via the App Store. A lot of people are using extremely out-of-date versions that are missing many features and fixes. Also, have your pet spayed or neutered.

I thought I was the only one having this problem. Glad that's not the case. I did figure out the "rotate to landscape mode" but only like a few weeks ago when I accidentally dropped it.
