M Women's Basketball
Is there a blog or someone on this site writing about the women's bb team? And before anyone says it: I cannot. I've not the expertise and since I'm in the PNW, I cannot get to the games.
However, they seem to be playing faster and tougher than at the beginning of the season.

Watching them on BTN now. Can't say I follow them, but there isn't much else on now. They've turned a 7 point half time defecit into a 10 point lead, so that's pretty solid. Also seem to be considerably better shooters than the men's team.

I tried really, really hard to watch, but women's basketball is epically unappealing for the viewer.

I could say the same thing to men's basketball, especially a certain team of late.
From what I recall, the women's team started on a tear to open the season, even close to being ranked (might have even been ranked shortly, but I think it was just others receiving votes), but they stumbled to open the BigTen season. I've heard it's the best team we've had in a few years.
All I've heard at least.

NCAA.com has us #44 in RPI (out of 345). We're not bad at FG% (#39 at 43.9%), holding onto the ball (#36 at 15.7 turnovers per game), and Krista Phillips is a pretty solid shot blocker (#30 with 2.2 blocks per game).

Though I am loath to credit anything tOSU, watching Samantha Prehalis and Jantel Lavender makes me wonder if they practice against guys. Sam is like a frick'n terrier and I'm starting to see some of this in today's game vs Indiana.
With 3:21 left in the game, M is up 64-45. Some of the BigTen skid involves a few 2 point losses. One vs Indiana at Indiana and another vs tOSU. M is playing tough.
