M Lax versus Sparty, Saturday
Michigan men's lacrosse plays MSU at Seaholm HS at 7:00pm, Saturday, April 16. MSU is pretty good this year (ranked #6 in the MCLA), and so the Wolverines will face a challenge in the likes of their previous games against Oregon, ASU, Chapman and CSU.
MSU has some real studs on their team, but fortunately for us, they do not have their beast goalkeeper anymore. Should be a tight, physical game, but I think Michigan's program has got too much for Sparty to prevail.
Let's go Blue!!!

Big game. Will probably see them again May 8 in the CCLA championship.
Hearing some very interesting rumors about the varsity lacrosse announcement.

C'mon people, don't tease like that. This is the Internet. Rumormonger away. By all means qualify your statements with rumor labels if you want, but don't be all "I know a seeeeeeeeecret!"

I think the direction the rumors are moving means we must be really close to an announcement. It does worry me about recruiting though. This late in the year will be tough to get top level recruits. Additionally we will soon be losing Yealy, Fried, our facer, goalies, Chad Carroll and a number of other talented role players. Will need some big recruits to step up quickly.
I'm getting ready to send in my donation. I know JP was asking for 5, 6 or 7 figure donations, do you think that includes decimals?
There was an announcement that they'll be converting Elbel Field to a full turf field. I heard that this was in part to allow lacrosse to play some games there. Just to add fuel to the fire.

Looks like we dominated face-offs and ground balls. Great work.
