Justice Hayes on playing time @MSU
Thought this was a pretty spectacular quote in Sam Webb's piece on Justice Hayes in The News.
"Michigan State has been losing players like flies in the discipline areas, so that's opening spots on the depth chart," said Hayes. "At first Michigan State was loaded at running back, but like I said, players been dropping like flies and that gives players like myself a chance to be able to come in and play."If I were a State fan, I would have found it difficult to imagine anything good coming out of recent events. I guess I would have been wrong. EDIT: link failure? here it is: http://www.detnews.com/article/20091217/OPINION03/912170349/Grand-Blanc…

They only lost the starting running back... does he forget about Caper and Baker? Both seem quite capable.

if they do well this year i'm sure he'll know who they are.

Hayes would be a nice get for a spread offense.

due to problems of discipline, which is certainly the case. How that leads to grabbing PT from Caper and Baker is another question.

blueadams, I'll be happy to email you the JPEG, but I don't know if it will look all that great as a background. It's 4" x 6" @ 72 dpi, and blowing it up to fill the screen might not work out. If you post your email address I'll send it as soon as I see it. Or if you don't want to post your email address I can send it MGoBlog and Brian can then relay it to you.
