Jack Johnson = America

Just cool to see that Michigan's own Jack Johnson really values the whole Team USA experience.
Love how he talks about not having to go clothes shopping for a few years.

+1! I was looking for a picture to post the new Canadian anthem up with on Facebook:
O Canada!
Our goofy frozen hat!
True hockey chokes, and we thank you for that.
With bacon round we see thee cook,
The hosers lose by two!
Your shots went wide, O Canada,
We punked you in your crib.
God keep Brodeur glorious a sieve!
O Canada, we punked you in your crib.
O Canada, we punked you in your crib.

I stole this one from jim Caples blog on espn.com:
No, Canada
You lost to Uncle Sam
We'll take the gold
You laid down like a lamb
With frying pans you tended goal
We scored on you at will
From far and wide, Oh Canada
We're scoring on you still.
God keep your nets
Wide open and emp-ty
O Canada
We scored five goals on thee
O Canada
U.S. with gold you'll see!

Last night my search for patriotic attire failed, so I did the next logical thing. I threw on a Michigan hockey jersey and repped Jack Johnson.
EDIT: Ricky Stanzi = America. Love it or leave it.

Is a true American Hero (see post Orange bowl speech). Jack Johnson is just a badass American Winning Machine. Both are pretty awesome.

I really wish a Jack Johnson USA jersey wouldn't cost me nearly $200...

He was cross-cheking the shit out of some stinky Canadian.
Epic win.

At the end of the second period scott niedermeyer threw him into the boards well after the horn blew and instead of retaliating he just skated off like nothing happened. That speaks volumes, especially for a hockey player

I thought it was weird that he's the first NHLer to march in the opening ceremony. Guess I didn't take into account the season still going on. But it seems to me that getting to march into the stadium in your country's garb, behind the flag, is at least seven-eighths of the whole point of getting to be an Olympian. To me there aren't too many higher honors in all of sports. So good for him for going out of his way to do it.
