The game. vs The Big Game

So I know there is nothing official. But I always thought Michigan OSU was "THE GAME" not "The Big Game". I thought the Big Game was Cal Stanford. Wikipedia seems to think so. But I was looking around OSU's official athletic website, and over and over again they are calling it "The Big Game". Maybe I am wrong, and I know its small, but this is something that bugs the hell out of me. Like when people on CBS or whatever refer to Michigan as Big Blue, like we are fucking IBM or god damn Kentucky? OSU's athletic site: http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/SportSelect.dbml?SPID=10408&DB_OEM_ID=… Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michigan_%E2%80%93_Ohio_State_rivalry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Game_(football)

The only adjective that can adequately describe the importance of The Game cannot be spoken by mortal lips without impoding the speakers head and bursting the organs of all those who hear it. Only Barwis can speak or hear this word without injury.

"The Game" is Harvard-Yale. I never thought of UM-OSU as having any kind of nickname - it was always just the Michigan-Ohio State game. The damn marketers always try to come up with some catchphrase for this stuff (remember when they were trying to sell the name rights?)
