Don’t forget the eastern conference finals in 97 when the pacers probably played the bulls better than anyone. Mj is on a fast break and mark Jackson fouls him, mj proceeds to throw the ball at marks head and no technical called. Mark definitely fouled him but mj should have gotten a tech, and the game got away from the pacers after that. Mj was the best ever, but like Lebron today, is the recipient of some very favorable reffing
I love Reggie but that was as blatant a push off as there is, as bad as Jordan’s push off against Utah to win the title. But let’s not pretend that MJ did not get the benefit of the lion’s share of the calls. If I’m being fair too, Reggie traveled every time he came of a pick. Just watch his feet, he perfected the catch then hop into his shot. The rules state it’s a travel but we all know the NBA
Always hated the bulls as a pacers fan, but MJ is one of the greatest to ever do it. Say what you will about espn but they do a great job in this department. The series that I’m looking forward to the most is the amazon all or nothing for Manchester City. Truly the perfect year to do a series on them as they broke every significant record in the book. Storybook season with an ending made for tv!!
