Duncan Robinson, Stuuu playing @ 4 on ESPN2
The Basketball Tournament, some odd tournament with former college players, is in their second round of their single elimination tournament. “Big X,” a team with Duncan Robinson, Stuuuuuuu, and *cough* Andrew Dakich, along with other B10 players, are playing at 4pm on ESPN2.
Can Duncan even play now that he signed with the heat?
No, he isn't playing. Helping to coach the team.
I guess he’s listed as a “booster” on their roster and won’t play. Mark Donnall will be, however
Jon Horford too I believe.
Have very little interest in TBT...just hope the OSU team loses
For those not watching, they have instituted what they are calling the "Elam Ending." Basically at the first whistle with under 4:00 left, they determine what the point amount to win the game is and shut off the game clock. Shot clock remains on. Interesting concept intended to combat boring endings like the NBA Finals. Example: first to 82 points wins.
Love this idea for ending the parade of fouls that always happen at the end of games
They had a chance to win it at the end and lost 69-67. Apparently the "Elam Ending" is determined by taking the leading team's score and adding 7 to it at the first stoppage of play after 4:00 left. It was tied at 62 when a timeout was taken, thus setting the winning amount at 69. It definitely has created some unique dynamics.
